JANETTE DAVIS, CPA

    Janette Davis, CPA is President & CEO of Southeast American Financial Group, Inc. which is a residential and commercial real estate lending firm that also provides business advisory services throughout Florida. She is also the President & CEO of Southeast American Financial Services, Inc. which develops cutting edge financial strategies for individuals and small business. 
    Prior to starting her firm, Janette held several executive positions with three major banks in Florida. Janette was a Senior Executive Vice President with BankUnited, FSB where she was responsible for the strategic development, direction and execution of initiatives for the Consumer Banking Division of the bank. Under her leadership the bank’s offices grew from 20 to 45 branches, increased loans through the branch network and private banking from $20 million to over $1 billion in loans and deposits grew by $3 billion. Janette also oversaw the investment affiliate, private banking, marketing, bank operations, developed and established a call center and a consumer lending division. 
    Janette was the Senior Vice President, Region Executive at Bank of America after the merger with Barnett Bank. She was responsible for management and direction of the 20 offices in Northern Dade County. Prior to the merger, Janette spent 15 years with Barnett Bank where she served in several capacities such as Group Senior Vice President, Market Executive, Vice President, Branch Manager and Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer. 
    Over the years Janette has guided and assisted clients in owning their own homes, expanding their business operations, purchasing their company locations, investing in multifamily housing, strip shopping centers, retail strip centers. Janette has the knowledge, expertise and products that are necessary to fit her clients unique needs. 
    Janette obtained her Bachelors (graduating Summa Cum Laude) and a Masters in Business Administration from Barry University.

Janette has received various community awards over the years. She received the Outstanding CPA in Business and Industry Award from the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2000. She is also a recipient of the NAACP Hall of Fame Award.
